As part of the women's empowerment project by Association-Equilibre, an intern has started a part-time position at KoKoTé's studio and shop in Kaiserhaus Bern.
Asrat will support the local team and, alongside her practical work, deepen her German and math skills through lessons and mentoring. The goal is for Asrat to be able to start a vocational training as a textile practitioner at KoKoTé in Kaiserhaus in 2027.
We are delighted to expand our successful Uri women's empowerment project to Bern with the recruitment of Asrat, and we wish Asrat a successful start and much joy and success in her new role and in her learning!
