This means that our profits secure educational and work integration measures for people who have had to flee their home countries due to war and crises. We also offer, in particular, women a workplace and the chance to catch up on education and qualifications. The people we work with inspire us to believe that anything is possible! The Story of Our Recycled Bags

In 2015, we – Yvonne and Franz – founded KoKoTé. Since then, our recycled bags and accessories have been 100% produced in our Uri manufactory – by hand, from ecological materials whose origin we can trace back to the source. The electricity we need for this comes from the sun. Our solar system captures the sun's rays and converts them into environmentally friendly energy. We think and act sustainably, ethically, and ecologically, because everyone can make a difference.

KoKoTé stands for responsible entrepreneurship as well as ethical and ecological awareness. We are convinced that politics, society, and companies must act together to counteract the social impacts of demographic change, globalization, the climate crisis, and growing social inequality.
