I was born in the country in Nigeria, where I grew up in modest conditions with my mother. I hardly knew my father because he died when I was still a child. I realized that I had no long -term future in Nigeria and decided to leave the country.
With a heavy heart I followed my mother's advice and went on a difficult trip in 2011, which finally led me to Switzerland through Italy in 2013. I found a new home in Uri and started in 2019 KoKoTé to work. Here I was able to further develop my passion for sewing and designing.
I love the work at KoKoTé. For me, the team is more than just a work colleague: inside - it's like a family. The support and cohesion at KoKoTé have changed my view of life positively. I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new every day and develop myself further.
My big dream is to complete my current vocational training as a textile practitioner EBA and build a stable future for me. KoKoTé gives me the feeling and the support of getting closer to this goal and being able to live a good life in Switzerland.
