Econyl®, which we use for almost all of our products, is a sustainable nylon that is obtained from recycled materials such as fishing nets and carpet remains. The special strength and versatility of the polyamide, which consists of Econyl®, enable an innovative approach to the recycling of nylon. Chemical recycling preserves the positive properties of nylon, while pre-consumers and post-consumer waste are processed in a sustainable approach to “new” nylon.
Compared to conventional nylon production processes, Econyl® is characterized by a significantly lower CO2 emissions. The complete transparency of the supply chain and the exemplary collection of materials make it an environmentally friendly choice. Despite its synthetic nature, Econyl® minimizes the impact on microplastics in the environment, since the structure consists of long, continuous filaments.
KoKoTé Econyl® sees as a suitable and sustainable functional material for the production of high -quality products.
