Ali Ghorbani - Deputy Production Manager

Ali Ghorbani completed an apprenticeship as a textile practitioner and is now deputy production manager at KoKoTé.

He even made it onto the front page of 20Minuten with his success in completing his apprenticeship and the whole team is very proud of him. Having only been in Switzerland for five years, the Afghan has worked his way up with a lot of diligence and ambition and has learned the German language very quickly. What does he particularly like about working at KoKoTé? He recounts:

"We always have lunch between 12 and 1 pm. There are people from different cultures in our company. Most of them live here in a family. We sit around a dining table, there are eight chairs, that's enough for everyone who wants to eat together here in the company. We all bring our food from home. When we sit and eat together like this, I feel very comfortable, which is also very good for our cohesion as a team. Although we come from totally different cultures, we are a very good team.

After the meal, we make coffee together. We talk and laugh together for a few more minutes and then start work again at 1 pm. I find these lunches very nice and they are memorable for all of us, because working together is good, but it is especially nice to spend time together and talk at lunch."
