Saly, my name is Ali Ghorbani

My position at KoKoTé is that of Deputy Production Manager.

It was a long and hard road to get to this position, just like my flight from Afghanistan, from where I came in 2014. I made it! Or rather, I made it "with a little help from my friends at Association Equilibre and KoKoTé". I don't want to brag, but a final grade of 5.5 as a textile apprentice EBA and top of my class made me happy deep in my soul. And the fact that I am now a production assistant at KoKoTé and part of the KoKoTé design and development team is just what I need. All this makes me very proud. It's a long way from humiliation to pride! I am aware that everything could have gone wrong and that is why I am doing everything I can to train my colleague Javad so that he can do the same training as me. And also with all the other KoKoTé bag makers and seamstresses to make KoKoTé known for its excellent craftsmanship and functional design. KoKoTé is certainly special when we all come together to develop new things like the "ZuZi". The KoKoTé - shopping trolley on wheels, which you can see below. The development of "ZuZi" took six months, during which every single detail of functionality and production was turned over a thousand times. And each time I had to ask myself: "Is it good enough to become a KoKoTé product"? For me, it is a bit strange and ironic to guarantee and take responsibility for "Swiss Quality made in Canton Uri" as an Afghan, but that is what I do and what we are all proud of. Don't hesitate to come to our shop and I will show you why "ZuZi" can be more than just a shopping trolley. I know from customers that it has become a life companion that can accompany you everywhere, whether on foot or by bike! If you think "ZuZi" is only for shopping, I have the answers to a thousand other things you can do with a "ZuZi". Just come by for a chat! By the way, with a "ZuZi" my colleagues and I are finally sharing a new and healthy trend that makes sense for a better environment on our common globe. And I can tell you why a "ZuZi" is a truly ecological choice!

I find this extraordinarily sensible and also courageous,

that your mother is still doing an apprenticeship here in Switzerland, because it takes courage to do an apprenticeship at this age - all respect.
